According to Kurti, the EU has not been reminded to add additional conditions.
We had 95 visa criteria. The EU added the criteria for us, knowing how serious the situation is. They have thought of saying that the prime minister would not threaten the prosecutor, and that foreign citizens would not infiltrate the tin. They have set many criteria because they have tried to stamp out the unpredictableness of the situation in Kosovo. We've got a lot of criteria, because we haven't had enough. So it turned out that their imagination was limited”, Kurt said.
According to him, citizens have no priority for visa liberalisation.
If you look at the measurements of opinion, citizens have never had much trouble liberalising visas, but have had employment, fighting corruption, education of health. The visa failure shows that the government has already surrendered. If the government has a priority to get the citizen out of the country, it's a failure. Citizens first choose a job in Kosovo than in Germany. We are demanding the resignation of the government, which has only resigned. Of 29 government officials, we have no one here. What it means for us to ask for the resignations of the”, Kurti said away.
According to him, Kosovo's image is now on the ground and worse it has never been before since the end of the war.
The organized crime occurs outside institutional structures, but the opposite happens to us. The EU office cited fighting organised crime and corruption before the visa decision. We have the image on earth, it's never been worse since the war ended. Everyone tells us that it takes great work to fight these phenomena. Recently, they have focused on technical conditions, but on Kosovo's image, and that's being understood correctly”, Kurti added./ P ERISCOPIA
