It has only been three weeks since the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) has announced competitions for 100 new jobs, but this competition according to Periscope sources will be cancelled this Friday.
That's because for only 100 positions, 20 thousand people have applied.
Periscop sources suggest that the KEK management is not seeing any technical opportunities to review all these applications, since the competition envisions the writing test phase and oral interviewing, and technically it seems impossible to realise for 20 thousand people.
The KEK board is expected to meet this Friday to formalise the decision to cancel the competition.
This is just another indicator of the high unemployment rate in Kosovo and the serious economic conditions of Kosovars. /Periscopi
