Haradinaj promises salary raises for health workers

Haradinaj was announced on this occasion by FSSHK representatives for the latest situation created in the sector, for health workers' concerns, and one of these concerns was the classification of wages of health workers.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said that the Kosovo government has increased the health budget, and for 2019 significant budget growth has been envisioned, which will affect the well-being of health workers.
Prime Minister Haradinaj has estimated that since receiving the mandate, he has been working intensively towards establishing the legal basis for this classification to be applied to the health sector as well as to work on the reforms of this sector.
The resolution of the wage problem for health workers is their classification, through the law. The Kosovo government has prosecuted the law in the Kosovo Assembly and will see the possibilities for even in this phase to address the issue of co-efficients for the middle staff, especially for nurses”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, urging health personnel to provide quality services and dignified treatment.
For their part, health unionists praised Prime Minister Haradinaj's commitment, voicing confidence that their demands will find its understanding and the Kosovo Government.
