Trade and Industry Minister Endrit Shala has mentioned several activities and orders to prevent smoking for minors, preventing carcinogenic games, which the ordinance has aimed at protecting consumers, broadcast csp.
Shala talking about the tax on Serbian goods, has reiterated that the tax will continue to apply to Serbia.
“We're in touch to protect the consumer, the consumer protection law is good and guarantees consumer protection in the country. Of particular importance is the support of local producers for more sustainable economic development”, he said, adding that they are aiming to ensure the quality of local products and imported through supervision via the” Inspectorate, he wrote.
Sheriff Feyzullahu from the Council for Consumer Protection said raising consumer awareness of quality is the priority of the MTI and this Council.
Since March 15th 2018, the Council has organised several activities to protect consumers from quality products”, he said.
Valdet Djindovci, head of AUV, has said this agency always works to ensure a high level of product quality.
“We are committed to rid the market of those products that do not contain the right quality and endanger consumer health”, Djindovci said.
Kosovo Producers Club Chairman Astrit Panja has said keeping consumers is a priority in the club's strategy.
There are quality products in Kosovo, but competitiveness must be increased. We ask the ministry to increase the number of inspectors for control. Each importer in Kosovo must respect the legal criteria. There are unhindered individuals and those operators be punished and closed factories in the meat sector”, Panja has said.
He also demanded stricter control at the borders.
Even Lulzim Syla, chief inspector, has indicated the measures that have been taken against those operators who have not respected the laws in power for products in all sectors.
