Gjilan expects 40m euros in investment in 2019

Speaking of investments, Haziri said the year 2018 has been a fragile year in the political sense, but said that for the Gjilan municipality it has been a very good year.

“Autostrada is the largest project for this area, which has begun and enjoys the fact that the municipality has worked hard on drafting the idea plan. Major investments have also been made in infrastructure in the amount of 3.2m euros. We have started with the construction of Kumanovo Road, the continuation of the Gjilan-Ferizaj exit, the siege of the Pristina Road, the streets, the channeling and the water supply in several neighbourhoods and villages of Gjilani”.

At the board meeting, Chairman Haziri confirmed that he is proud that Gjilan is presiding over his partnership with donors who are different governments of the world.

Investments are enormous. If all these investments are collected within the year, without the highway as a strategic investment, Gjilan amounts to about 40m euros planned for 2019, which are confirmed”, Haziri said.
