“The Fusten of Respect” is this dress name, a clothing equipped with sensors designed to show how often a girl gets harassed during a certain party.

Technology has enabled the dress to be supplied with a thermal map that confirms when a woman is touched or embraced against her will.
The social experiment, which aims to raise awareness of harassment, took place in Brazil, where three women were asked to wear this particular dress during a holiday. In just over four hours, they were touched a total of 157 times, with an average of 40 contacts per hour.

The dressmaker stays behind technology, they're in another room where a computer is installed that shows when and where girls are affected at night. And it was found that the most affected parts are the backs, arms, and skirts. The dress not only shows touch but also intensity.

The idea of creating such a dress was inspired by reported cases where girls relate their experiences and the harassment they experience during various holidays. And the goal of the smart dress is to prove what girls actually experience.
