25 people died at CKUUK as a result of traffic injuries

Despite the large number of deaths presented in the police report, the director of Emergency at the University Centre of Kosovo (QKUK), Basri Lenyan, has said that from the total number of deaths in accidents only 25 of them have changed their lives during treatment at the CKUK “for 2016 we have 16 [...]
For 2016 we have 16 deaths. For 2017 we have 17 deaths, and for 2018 there are 29 deaths, namely, the deaths that took place only in our service”, Lenyan said.
However, this number according to him is no enorm if Kosovo is compared to other surrounding countries.
We have the largest number of injuries in accidents, but we have no emotional death rate. Even according to the Police report, there is a smaller number in growth. Above all, there are persons aged 18-40. We stay better than Serbia, than Macedonia, than Croatia, in the state of accidents in communications”, has declared.
On the other hand, in addition to the high death toll in accidents, many people remain injured. The Emergency Director suggests that in 10 months, over 3300 people who have been injured in accidents have been treated in this clinic.
In January, October we have approximately 3900 injured in accidents”, he concluded, appealing that all drivers should be careful in communication first by respecting themselves and then others.
