It is a week since the Kosovo government decided to raise the tax on products of Serbia and Bosnia to 100 percent on Wednesday.
And so far, it notes a drastic decline in the interest of Serbian businesses to introduce goods to Kosovo.
Kosovo Customs spokesman Adriatic Stavileci has indicated that only two trucks have been introduced to Kosovo so far.
One, according to him, was from Serbia, and the other from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Their entry into Kosovo has been enabled entirely after they paid the 100 per cent tax.
But now a week's flow has fallen.
Stavileci has announced that until now they have returned about 20 months.
According to him, a number has been returned because of the tax, and some because of the wrong declaration.
He has also shown that during this time and in the north of the country, illegal opportunities have been seized.
According to the Kosovo Statistics Agency, imports from CEFTA countries in September 2018 have reached 82.2m euros, or 28.0% of total imports, with an increase of 10.2%.
The country with the highest import turnout was Serbia at 12.8 percent and then Albania at 6.7 percent
The increase in tax to 100 per cent has caused severe reactions in Serbs.
