According to statistical data, out of 169 municipalities in Serbia, in 2017, there have been increases in the population in Novi Pazar, Bujanoc, Sjenica, Presevo, Tutin and Novi Sad, writes Belgrade's “Geox1>, broadcast Koha.net.
This newspaper biasedly alarms that it is population growth in those municipalities where the majority are Albanians, respectively, Bosniaks, except for the largest city of Vojvodina, while demographic graphics show Serbia has the natural growth of the lowest population compared to all parts of the former Yugoslavia.
According to this source in Serbia within the year, 35 thousand to 38 people die more than they are born, so that between two censuses it has fewer 350 thousand to 380 thousand people.
In the 50th years of the last century in Serbia, an average of 160 thousand children were born a year, while now 100,000 fewer. Also, an average of 60 thousand people died in one year, and now this driver has reached 100,000.
According to demographic accounts, if current demographic trends continue, in 2061 Serbia will have three million people less than today.
