During noon today, there has been a large field fire in KEK's spaces, with cerrast, except for the grass, some old strips and trafuss have been burned.
This has caused great panic in residents around. Those under anonymity have said that they have felt quite threatened by this fire because of their carcinogenic smoke.
Residents speak highly of KEK. They say that it is not the first time such fires are occurring.
They stressed that within the power plant object there is no right to enter any person who is not part of the staff, for this reason the fire is lit by staff members.
KEK Director for Communication Skender Bucolli told Kosova Prees that this fire has been far from thermal power plants and has presented no problem for operating.
The fire was in the Metalko area, and despite being out of thermal power plants, all the intervention units have gone to the scene and made the fire go out, although it hasn't presented a problem in the daily operating”, he said.
