Merkel writes letter to Haradinaj, supports Kosovo's membership in Interpol

So at least it says in the letter Chancellor Angela Merkel has sent to Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj about his request to help Kosovo's state membership in this international organisation.

Haradinaj's letter has been published on the social Facebook network:

Germany strongly supports Kosovo membership in Interpol

This is confirmed by Chancellor Angela Merkel, whom I accepted today through Ambassador Christian Heldt. Germany's strong support for Kosovo's membership in Interpol comes at a key moment for our country's international consolidation. Chancellor Merkel points out that this act will empower the integration of the Republic of Kosovo into the international community, and is in service to improve co-operation in the area of security and the investigation of transnational crime. Deeply grateful to the German state for its continued support.
