Kosovo's Parliament MP from the Alternative, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, has criticised the Kosovo Government's decision to impose a 10% safeguard clause on products imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Speaker of the Alternative, who years ago has also led the Ministry of Trade and Industry, this move by Prime Minister Haradinaj has called it tired. Haradinaj Government's hard work “Prime Minister, try something else that this measure won't add to”, it wrote.
Kusari-Lila has also said that the prices of products in Kosovo will now rise from this decision.
With the deployment of a 10% measure on the part of Kosovo, Serbia and Serbian companies will not feel the sanction of the Kosovo government. Most Serbian companies already have stocks in Kosovo, while the 10% increase when the stocks are finished, the Kosovar consumer will pay the 10% increase. In other words, the Government of Kosovo with this move punishes Kosovo citizen”.
Kosari-Lila's full delivery:
Government Without Courage and Without Interest in Punishing Serbia ʹ throws eyes on people's eyes
The government of the Republic of Kosovo today made the decision to set a 10% safeguard clause for products imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This decision was said by Prime Minister Haradinaj that: “was taken as sanctions against the hostile behaviour the Serbian state has towards Kosovo”. The international regions produced in Serbia are exempt from this decision.
That Serbia deserves punitive measures for its behaviour, it is now old news, but at least the Government of Kosovo has the courage and determination and a little too much economic logic to take this action properly.
Deception 1.
In other words, the Government of Kosovo with this move punishes the citizen of Kosovo.
Deception 2. Disfellowshipping international companies' products in Serbia.
In 2011, punitive measures for Serbia were to close the border on Serbian products, regardless of company capital origin, POR, the origin of goods.
The damage to Serbia is done when foreign companies leave Serbia because it is not a safe place to operate, as if it happened to some companies, which as a result of reciprocity measures imposed by Kosovo in 2011.
If the government is serious about the punitive measure for Serbia, let me pretend I did it in 2011. Close the entire border for Serbian products, without exception and without fear. Serbia and Bosnia will be the ones seeking talks and agreements on pressure coming to them from their companies.
Or did the government place this move in a lack of courage for literal sanctions against Serbia and for everyday policy consumption.
Deception 3. Of course, it is not in the interests of Prime Minister Haradinaj and his government to punish Serbian companies and products, knowing that its closest supporters and people are either representatives or business with Serbian companies.
The hard efforts of Haradinaj Government. Prime Minister, try something else that this measure will not flow anywhere.
