Journalists' questions -- Augustin Palocaj and Virtue Gacafer -- did not like the European Union official.
“How it is possible for Federica Moghrin to declare that such a decision is a violation of the CEFTA agreement, when until today none of this organisation has said it, but only the Federica Moghrini” was the question of Palocaj.
We understand the political message. But as far as we know the EU is not part of CEFTA. How can Moghrin say that is a violation of CEFTA, when the EU is not part of CEFTA. And we have not seen any reaction from CEFTA that says such a decision is a violation of CEFTA. Why the EU is interfering with an issue. The EU has refused to pose when it came to INTERPOL, saying that such a case belongs only to two countries”, has been the question of journalist Palocaj to Kocijancic.
Kocijacic, on the other hand, said it was the EU that monitors the fulfillment of all agreements taken from partners in the region. According to her, CEFTA is a key to the region's economy.
“We have made our position clear, and we hope that CEFTA will take the necessary measures to ensure that the agreement is being implemented in full” Kocijancic has said.
Do you have any report from CEFTA that such a thing is a violation of the CEFTA agreement or not?” has asked Palocka again.
Kocijanic has since reiterated the answer that the EU monitors the fulfillment of agreements the two sides (Kosovo and Serbia) have received.
Meanwhile, the journalist, Virtue Gacafer, from Deutche Well, has contacted CEFTA Secretariat's director and he has confirmed that there is no decision that the tax of 10 percent or even 100 percent is a violation of the agreement.
I met with CEFTA Secretariat Director. There is no CEFTA decision that says the 10 per cent or 100 per cent tax is contrary to the CEFTA agreement. The two authorities who say so are only Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, and Commissioner Johannes Hahn” has been the question of journalist Gacafer.
He has also asked Kocijcin if they will call for Serbia to participate in organising the CEFTA that will take place in Pristina, as those Serbian government have declared they will not participate in the government's actions.
The EU spokeswoman, speaking of nothing later on about any CEFTA decision, has said it is important to have good neighbourly relations and that both sides must move forward to normalise reports because this is in the best interests of all.
