The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Issa Mustafa, has made a status in his Facebook profile, where he has talked about possible Kosovo membership in Interpol, writes Periscopi.
Mustafa, among other things, has declared that our country deserves to be a member of this international police organisation, since Kosovo Police are well prepared and disciplined.
But, at the end of his short text, Mustafa expresses a desire to be pitied, saying it would be normal for Serbia to pass over its neighbouring state, the Republic of Kosovo.
We all know that Serbia does not recognise Kosovo's independence, which constitutes the cornerstone of this state's obstacles to our state's membership in international organisations.
This is his full status:
Kosovo deserves to become an Interpol member. Kosovo police are well prepared, trained and disciplined, and as such will be the added value of this international police organisation, which follows and fights crime worldwide. Here is also why the most democratic countries are in favour of Kosovo, because they have invested too much for peace and security, and they need allies fighting crime and pursuing criminals of all sizes. Our country, not only needs but also has an obligation to contribute to that security. It would be normal for Serbia to support the neighbouring state, the Republic of Kosovo.
