Although the consumer protection law exists, and has seen a ban on selling tobacco products and alcohol under the age of 18, this has not been respected.
Meanwhile, recently, Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala has made the decision that Article 15 of the Consumer Protection Law be implemented with precision. On the contrary, it has warned convictions whether these products are sold to young people under the age of 18. Brits by law for sellers are brought from one thousand to ten thousand euros.
Sociologists consider the tightening of measures for the sale of forbidden products for young people until the age of 18 as necessary, warning that contact of children or young people with these products has its negative effects.
