Today at the plenary session of the European Parliament, the resolution prepared for Kosovo has been adopted by rapporteur Igor purposetes.
During late discussions last night, the plenary hearings invite the removal of the tax 100%, normalisation of relations, empowering rule of law and fighting organised crime and corruption.
As far as the 100% tariff is concerned, Commissioner Hahn showed a firm stance: “Set-up of tariffs has violated CEFTA and is contrary to the MSA spirit. Once it's abolished. The speed of European reforms is very slow. ”
As for visa liberalisation, Commissioner Hahn said: “we stand behind the assessment that Kosovo has fulfilled all criteria for visa liberalisation”.
