40 hectares of German KFOR camp in Prizren to surrender to government

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, together with government cabinet ministers, have visited the military camp of the German KFOR contingent, currently Park Inovative and Kosovar-German Training.
They have paid tribute to the memorial set up for the 50,000 soldiers who have served in Kosovo from post-war to today.
Haradinaj, has said Kosovo society should be grateful and trust Germany, KTV reports.
German Ambassador Christian Heldt said Kosovo-German projects will expand more than just in Prizren.
Eric Offermann, Lieutenant Colonel and commanders of the German KFOR contingent in Kosovo, has said he is happy that they will still be part of KFOR in Pristina and in assisting the construction of the KSF, presenting the conclusion of the 19-year presence of Bundesver in Prizren.
In addition, Offermann said that in this camp, Germany has invested over 40m euros and is willing to hand over 40 hectares of the Kosovo Government camp.
He has said German society for international co-operation GIZ will decisively forward the creation of “Parcus Training and Innovation at Prizren”.
