Strange statistics were highlighted when Portuguese retired in July, after a 21-year career, Periscopi broadcasts.
“Yes, statistics are accurate”, tells 40-year-old for BBC Sports, jokingly adding: “I was born to gain”.
Robert Green in Chelsea, Richard Wright in Manchester City, Lee Grant in Manchester United are the third goalkeepers in big English teams, but no one has won more than Lopes.
I feel happy having these moments in my career”, Lopes says. “They are part of my achievements and show important and special moments of my” career.
Lopes played for Benfita's youth team, but never made a presentation for the first team before leaving in 2002.
He spent the next decade alternateing into two teams in Portugal, making more than 200 presentations and helping Trofense and Feirense reach promotion at Primeira League, Periscope follows.
Then, at 34 years of age, the call came to be reunited with Benfice in 2012.
“I thought it was a joke”, says Lopes, recalling a call with Benfita director and Portuguese legend Rui Costa.

Lopes finally made his debut for Benfya on October 8, 2012, where he played five games during that season. This figure has dropped over the next few seasons, even though he played the Champions League against Zen St Petersburg in 2014.
It was a great pleasure to return to Benfya. It was the recognition of my work as a doorkeeper throughout my career and my professional soccer assessment. There are few players selected to represent Benfice”, he continued.
In a decade at Benfya, he was behind gatekeepers like Ederson, now in Manchester City, former Brazil and Inter coach, Julius Caesar, and Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak.
He was part of the team that won four successive seasons Primeira League from 2014 to 2017, plus two Portuguese cups (Taca de Portugal), three League Cups (Taca da League) and three Supertaca Candido de Oliveira (Superkupe).
Now, he works as a goalie coach for U23 Benfice. /Periscopi/
