Former leader of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office Kwai Hong Ip, long ago has stayed in Kosovo. After meeting with leaders of the justice system, he has not returned dry hands to The Hague. With him, he has taken some courses from the Constitutional Court in Pristina and Prizren, dealing with war crimes.
At a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj had attended the entire high level of rule of law.
However, at this meeting, which was held long ago, it is seen that two of the leaders of the two very important institutions in the country have been missing: Judiciary Council Chief Chairman Nehat Idrizi and Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri. Both of them had a good reason for missing the meeting.
The same day in Kosovo has stayed Kwai Hong Ip, since then after David Schwedenmann's departure, was leader of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office at The Hague.
This senior official of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office has met with Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri and the chairman of the Judiciary Council, Nezhat Idrizi.
This guy in a phone conversation with T7 confirmed this meeting. According to Idriz, it has been talked about bilateral co-operation between the Specialised Prosecutor's Office and Judiciary Organs in Kosovo.
But sources show that these two were not the only officials to meet the head of the specialised Prosecutor's Office at the time.
Kwai Hong Ip, according to sources within the justice system, has also met with some of the Kosovo Court Speakers. Among them, even with the leaders of the Constitutional Courts in Pristina and Prizren.
Sources suggest Kwai Hog lp has taken along a bunch of subjects. It's all about war crimes cases. Even among those items that have been taken to The Hague, there are even cases that have already ended up in Kosovo.
On the same day, Kawi Hong Ip has suggested that the Specialised Prosecutor's Office will open office in Belgrade as well.
While this prosecution body is long under investigation in Kosovo, it was linked to alleged crimes by members of the Kosovo Liberation Army, where a large number of potential witnesses were interviewed.
