Thaci: Citizens in Macedonia vote for Euro-Atlantic future, Parliament to Decide

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci says citizens in Macedonia gave their paper to the country's Euro-Atlantic future. He says he hopes and wishes that Macedonia's Assembly will make the right decision for Europe.

This is Thaci's full message to the FBR:

Citizens of Macedonia, by their will and vote in the democratic referendum, decided on their new name and Euro-Atlantic future. Yesterday's voters, including all our Albanian countrymen there, testified to citizenship and clear pro-Western will.

I hope and also wish that the Parliament of the Republic of Macedonia will make the right decision for Europe. The Western Balkans need leadership and important decisions, which strengthen good neighbourlyity, and that our region integrates into the European Union as soon as possible. HTH
