French police have arrested the criminal since he escaped from prison in the most spectacular way possible by helicopter, police reported today.

Prisoner Redoan Faid, who was searching for police from July, has been arrested in the town of Krei in northern Paris, broadcasts Telegraph.

His arrest has been confirmed by French Interior Minister Gerard Colobbe.
