Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti says Germi object is ugly

Every time he goes this way, he remembers his youth. Part of it, Fadil Curri, has been spent with friends in the former object of Germ.

“In studies with friends gone from coffee theater...”

He even remembers what he once bought in his former cargo home.

I've been able to buy you an adidas”

Similar memories of Fadhil include many of the capital's inhabitants who have been connected to this object once a home for goods.

Soon, though, Fadhil and others may be left with only memories.

After several days of the object's collapse is under discussion, a concertal Hall construction site is allowed.

And the head of the Pristina municipality says the issue of the object must be discussed.

If it's an emotional matter, let's get it home to goods... but it's an ugly building...”

The European Commission has allocated nearly 15m euros for the concert hall on the condition that it be built in downtown Pristina.

The former object of the house of goods was discussed during a meeting Ahmeti had with OEK chairman Berat Rukiqi, with whom a memorandum of co-operation to help businesses in the capital was signed.

But the biggest concern was for the debate that has started over the collapse of the Germia facility, which is not being liked by Pristina residents.

Once the beautiful object of Germ has now been turned into pigeon nests and jobs for the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Kosovo Tax Agency.
