New Kosovo Police Inspectorate Inspectors Trained

Today, at the Kosovo Academy for Public Security, training began the new generation of professional training, “Inspector of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate”, where participants are seventeen degrees.

The academy's general director, Ismail Smakqi, Miradije Kelmendi, chief executive chief of the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, and senior officials from public security institutions and international organisations were present.

Academy General Director Ismail Smakqi stressed that this is the first generation to begin the basic training of a professional programme, which is the result of the European Commission's twinning project.

He said it is the first time that an agency in the academy begins professional training with a coded programme by the National Qualification Authority, as a result of joint work by local experts and the twinning project.

Finally, director Smakqi wished the participants success in completing this training.

While Kosovo Police Inspectorate chief Miradije Kelmendi said a special moment is being marked today as it is the first generation to be trained and certified in already recognised programmes and validated by the National Qualification Authority for Professional Position, police inspectors.

The “Juve will expect a difficult period in which commitment and daily commitment is required, we expect you to complete this challenge with high results and then work together as part of the police Inspectorate structure to increase efficiency and professionalism in successfully achieving the key mission defined by law<1>, Kelmendi concluded.

In the end, she thanked the Kosovo Academy for Public Security and staff for the work and continued commitment, wishing them success in achieving the goals.
