This is the 12th time police are questioning the Israeli prime minister under the investigation for a case of corruption, the AP broadcasts.

Investigators arrived at the prime minister's residence in Jerusalem in the morning hours, as the demonstrators stood in front of the building who carried a big transparent photo of Netayah, writing “criminal minister” and called for slogans seeking justice.

The last time Netanyah was questioned in August under the investigation into corruption at the Israeli telecommunications company.

The case, dubbed 4,000, included allegations that Netayah has ordered special treatment of the telecommunications giant Bepat in exchange for favourable reporting for his family on the page of the Walla newspaper, which belongs to Bephat.

Israeli media have reported that it is expected that the Supreme Prosecutor will file charges against Netanyah for taking bribes.

In February, Israeli police have recommended that the state prosecutor file charges against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhau on two separate cases of bribery.
