In this regard, Prime Minister Haradinaj has said he should deal with business, as he does not understand the topic of visa liberalisation.
These guys who are selling their minds, let the Chamber of Commerce deal with business, let it come and ask for what it can do to expand the private sector. I think they're getting into topics they don't know where they are, they don't understand the subject. He doesn't know the subject better than us”, Haradinaj said.
Economic House Chairman Berat Rukiqi wrote yesterday that the real option to liberalise Kosovo visas is the beginning of 2020.
According to Rukiqi, at the European Council there are no issues on which there is no full consensus of the European Union's powerful states.
He cites the skeptical stance France and the Netherlands have about abolishing visas for Kosovars.
There are two countries with extraordinary powers in the EU, which for a reason or another reason, are opposing visa liberalisation for Kosovo: France and Holland. The odds of positive visa decision within this year are 50/50. In the Council, similar issues have never gone to any chance of voting, unless there is a consensus, especially with countries that have power, not just vote. The real option for effective liberalisation is the beginning of 2020”, the chairman of the Chamber of Economics wrote.
