Albanians are lucky to have Elena and Ismail Kadare! Kadare's mates were our voices all over the world. They helped other peoples get to know Albanians and their right. They worry about their extraordinary feeling for Kosovo, and they always manifested it with great love. Elena Kadare has given us the most original confessions, about the world, about Albanians and herself. With a special feeling, I had the honour of granting Elena “the Golden Harp of Kosovo”, in recognition of her literary creativity, preservation of our values and their spread in the world.
