The Democratic Union for Integration's central leadership at the meeting held today has reviewed the current situation created following the implementation of the consultative referendum for the entry of the Republic of Macedonia into the EU and NATO, with acceptance of the Prespa Agreement.
DUI concluded:
In the referendum came 650 thousand citizens, out of whom more than 90%, or 610 thousand citizens have been declared positively, with what clearly is reflected the will of the country's EU and NATO membership and for accepting the Prespa Agreement.
DUI estimates that the signed and ratified agreement presents an international obligation for the country, and in this direction welcomes messages sent by international friends, primarily the US, the European Union, Union member states, etc, in which the Republic of Macedonia's Parliament is clearly and unassumingly called to take the obligation for implementation and implementation of the Prespa Agreement.
In view of these conflicts, DUI's central leadership decided that at the moment the country's priority is to find the solution with which the Prespa Agreement will be implemented in the Assembly, and calls on all political parties to work towards creating conditions for implementation of the Agreement.
