Blerta Deliu responds to reports that she had voted the Law for Victims of Sexual Violence

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Blerta Deliu has reacted sharply after several reports that she and some of her associate parties had not voted the Law that protected and sought justice for women raped during the recent war. Deliu has said all this is lies and that someone wants to personally harm them, broadcast Periscope.

The PDK's MP has also published a list on Facebook that shows MPs in question had voted in favour of this Law in 2014.

Deliu, who today shows her support for women raped during the war and participates in conferences supporting victims of sexual violence, once thought otherwise.

She and several other PDK deputies had joined forces mainly with Serbian deputies at the attempt to prevent change of law.

But just a year later, MP Deliu had changed his mind, and in 2014, they voted for the change of this law.

Here's a full Facebook post:

A low-level slander campaign, initiated and distributed by some political opponents, mainly through social and party portals, is misleading the public opinion that I and some of my MP colleagues have voted against completing the Law that regulates the status of victims of sexual violence during the war.

It's extremely embarrassing this intimate approach, which, above all, is a deliberate lier who has the main tendency to denigrate us personally.

As evidence that this whole orchestrated campaign is a deliberate slander, here I am fully posting the voting of all MPs for the Law in question during the hearing held by the 20th.
March 2014.

As evidence, you also have a way of voting MPs who, as such, find the site of the Kosovo Assembly! /Periscopi/
