Social Democrat Party Chairman Shpend Ahmeti has reacted to the beating of two Albanians in Serbia's Novi Sad.
These incidents have praised the chairman of the country as unacceptable The PSD, once chairman of the Pristina municipality, stressing that they are the consequence of the rhetoric and chauvinist policies.
According to him, Kosovo institutions should seek responsibility for clarifying the case from competent organs in Serbia.
This is his full post:
The two Albanians were brutally beaten at night between Saturday and Sunday in Novi Sad by a group of hooligans just for speaking Albanian. Maloch's deliverance is in serious condition.
These incidents are unacceptable, and they are the result of long-standing chauvinist rhetoric and policies that have dominated Serbia. Our institutions should immediately seek responsibility and clear the case of the rule bodies in Serbia.
We will work with our Social Democrats in the EU to include condemning the incident in reports on freedom and democracy in Serbia!”. /Periscopi/.
