The US delegation, led by Secretary for Europe and Eurasia's deputy MP Jonathan Cohen and officials from the Department of Defence, are in Ankara to negotiate as part of the meeting work from time to time.
They have met with their Turkish partners led by Ahmet Muhtar Gun, deputy secretary of the foreign ministry, reports “Hurriyet Daily News”, the Periscopi broadcast.
The group's work agenda includes a number of issues related to bilateral tensions in recent months, such as the visa crisis and ongoing investigations of the US consular staff.
