Tourists hold off at the ski center in Switzerland (Photo)

The numerous snowfalls have left some 13 thousand tourists stuck in Zermatt, the most popular ski centre in Switzerland.

“Bora has blocked all roads, including the movement of trains in the Swiss canton Valais”, train station manager Janine Imsch has said.

She has suggested through the official page that coming and leaving the area is currently not possible.

The main road has been closed since yesterday, while the train's movement has been cut off last evening. /Indesksonline/
