Spectacular picture, here's what the Sahara looks like under the blanket of snow

Ain Sefra, a town from the desert in Algeria known as “entering the Sahara”, experienced heavy snowfall on Sunday.

Foreign media report that in some areas its thickness reached up to 40cm, but officially reported about 20cm.

The Sahara is one of the highest-fever spots, but at night they sit too low, so it's no wonder the snow stays. The wonder in this case lies snowed during the day.
