Shefqet Krasniqi's trial revealed that the waiter's brother became a terrorist

Ilir Mustafa, from Pristina, shortly after abandoning his job as waiter at one of the most popular clubs in the capital, “Zanzi Bar” was headed for Syria. This had happened in 2011 until the family had told them that it was going to Switzerland.

Three years later, in 2014, his brother realized that Ilir was not in Switzerland but in I SIS. These have testified Monday to Suad Mustafa, in the terrorism trial against Shefqet Krasniqi, whom he accuses of having influenced his brother to become a terrorist.

Two witnesses have been missing from the Pristina Foundation Court to give their testimony as the imam of the capital's great mosque, Shefet Krasniqi convinced their children to go to Syria.

For the mother of Blerim Heta, the young man from Ferizaj, who killed over 50 people, including himself, in a suicide suicide campaign attack, a shortage was reasoned in court, since it was said to be located in Germany. While Venera Ademi's mother, a former pioneer and young singer who abandoned her dream of music to go to Syria, according to the trial's embarrassment, has yet to accept the court's invitation to testify.

But, on Monday at the Court, Suad Mustafa, the brother of another Kosovo ISIS, whom his family claims was influenced by the speeches of imam accused of going to Syria, writes Express.

Mustafa, although in his testimony he said there was a closer report than other family members, with Ilir, he did not know the age or year of the young man who went to Syria.

He also discovered before the court that the family for three years had not known where Ilir Mustafa ended up. As soon as he left home in 2011, Ilir had told his sisters that he was leaving for Switzerland.

The “the Sisters were at home when they went. She's been followed by sisters. I was at work. He has told them he is leaving for Switzerland”, Suad Mustafa indicated in court, answering the prosecutor's questions.

He said that during those years all the family has had rare communication with the young man. Most had, according to Mustafa, communicated with him after only three years, in 2014, when he had even uncovered his exact location.

I haven't contacted them until he called me in 2014 and I'm told he's in Syria”, the witness said.

He indicated that Ilir had recently left home in “Zanzi Bar”, where he had worked as a waiter.

Suad Mustafa, in his testimony, indicated that his brother had been a regular practitioner of religion since 2002. According to him, he was pardoned at the “Mehmet Fatih” mosque in Pristina, whose imam was Shefqet Kransqi.

For the latter, he said several times during the testimony that he is convinced that he has influenced his brother to go to Syria.

The witness at today's session said he had also heard his grandfather, who was a pilgrimage, criticised Krasniqi's speeches, which he said were on several severe occasions.

I personally think there were very severe cases in those speeches. And I don't want them. The problem is most faced by someone, especially a young man named Suad Mustafa, in the question of prosecutor Elez Blakaj having influenced Shefqet Kransiqi's speeches in his brother Ilir's decision.

Suad Mustafa said that after realizing where Ilir really is, he has repeatedly tried to avoid family discussions because of the health condition of his two parents and grandfather, already feeling.

Before the witness was heard, Prosecutor Elez Blakaj, whom the court and the defense spared from reading the indictment, during his opening speech showed that all three witnesses proposed by him, including Suad Mustaf, will show at the Court how their family members were transformed, and later the same went to areas of conflict in Asia after hearing Shefqet Krasniqi's speeches.

The Special Prosecutor cited one more occasion when the accused imam has compared the Serb massacres against Albanians with what happened in fighting in Syria.

But Shefqet Krasniqi's defense, which itself has been declared innocent of the three counts of the Special Prosecutor, filed since last year, considered it to be the wrong interpretations of the speeches of the former great mosque imam, and of giving a different context. Similarly, lawyer Sevdali Zamenu said the prosecution will not get to court to testify either to charges of taxing his client, to which Shefqet Krasniqi is charged in the same indictment.

Otherwise, Kosovo Special Prosecutor, in the indictment filed against Shefqet Krasniqi in February 2017, claims that the controvers imam during 2013 and 2014 has consistently and deliberately delivered messages to the public, by which he has led others to join terrorist organisations in conflict areas in Asia, and who have subsequently committed terrorist acts.

“The same using its direct presentations to the public by means of various speeches, and by using social networks and other information tools, such as TV and radio, through the harsh language and interpretation of Koran verses outside the time frame and principled Islamic spirit [...] has influenced others to take the road and join terrorist organisations SIS and Al Nusra, who battle against Syrian power and the creation of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, as is the case of Venera Ademi, Ilir Mustafes or the case of Blerim Heta, and of the latter's actions, through a suicide terrorist act, on the date of 25.03.2014 were killed by 52 people in Iraq<18x1>, said at the first instance of the indictment against Shefqet Krasniqi, accused of “Push for terrorist activity”.

Krasniqi is charged that during the same period of time, during the same legalisations, he has committed criminal work “The instigation of hatred, division or national, racial, religious or ethnic resistance”, among communities living in Kosovo.

At the third point of the indictment, the imam of Pristina's great mosque is also charged with “Avoid taxes”, since the same one allegedly did not pay over 20 thousand euros in tax duties for his private business “N. Gates”.
