“Since representatives of the SBASK have agreed to decisions stemming from the BSPK Executive Headship meeting over concrete commitments in an effort to meet membership requirements, they have held an extraordinary consultative meeting with municipal union-level heads and Universities”, it says in their announcement.
It says that members of the Steering Council have forwarded to the SBASK chairman and chiefship the teachers' reactions to the offensive statements by Prime Minister Haradinaj at the address of education workers, welcoming the SBASK's significant response to the issue.
At this meeting there and here, there were discussions of tones raised about the Government's warning of salary raises only 4 %s by repeating that this rise is considered offensive. They have come up with a request to be set up at 4 %, but based on the value of 4 % of the prime minister's” salary, it is said away.
The SBASK Steering Council has unanimously decided to start with preparations for union action and have agreed that through signing forms the authorisation of membership for necessary actions, whether such as the SBASK or in co-ordination with the BSPK, not excluding the general strike in an effort to implement 4% of the prime minister's salary, implementation of the Law on Health Insurance and other requirements of SBASK membership.
