Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said there are several possible motives for killing the SDP Civic Initiative leader, Oliver Ivanovic, but has voiced conviction that the murder of the Kosovo Serb leader has not been done by Albanians.
In an interview for Croatia's National Television HRT, Haradinaj said today that the killing of Ivanovic is a tragedy.
It's a bad event, a tragedy in this case. We're interested in whitening this” murder, Haradinaj said, Insander reports. “could be [the murder] of all motives: both political and crime, but it is not interethnic”.
Haradinaj also commented yesterday in Kosovo on Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. Kosovo government chief said the Serbian president has shown reasonableness in his visit.
“I think there is a greater realism and a stabilisation of rhetoric between Kosovo and Serbia. So yesterday Serbia's president, Vuciq, has been reasonable”, Haradinaj said.
Speaking to Kosovo's north, Haradinaj said that “Kosovo is stable”.
He declared that Kosovo's Constitution applies even in the north. The “there has been one thing more formal in the economy and other processes, but that part is stabilising”, the Kosovo prime minister said.
