Open Letter to War Veterans

Honored veterans, all of Kosovo's normal citizens have wanted freedom from Serbia's violent and discriminated regime. Each of them has been brought in and contributed according to his own ability and manner. 

I'm among them. By the end of the war, I wrote and reported from the ground, was political adviser in combat and transition circumstances, host and assistant humanitarian activities, witness to births, injuries, deaths... This is a description for those veterans who do not know the contribution of others. For those veterans who know the contribution of others, yet feel they are more entitled to protect “the cleansing of the liberation war” than others.

But also to argue with the motive for writing. So, we're going in a row... First of all, at the beginning of armed resistance such as Freelancerão, I've been co-operating mainly with German ARD and SAT-1 televisions by, more or less, all war zones. I have met commanders who have fallen for their ideals and commanders who are still in different positions but far from the ideal of Commander Adam Yasar. I believe some of you have met and helped me in many operational areas.

During this period I've reported from many tragic, dramatic,humanistic events... To prepare a war theme, I've seen it happen that within a day 19 times our militia stop us, the Serbian special cops... Initially, several days after the massacre of Commander Ademi Jashar in Prekaz's family, after allowing Serbian officials, for Swiss television for heroism and the Jashari family sacrifice, then from Staffia, until the grenade was grenade-hited in the backyard (as I remember, the four-member Zeqiri family), Golloboci, firing 13 Albanians, after reporting, I conducted an interview with the only survivor whom we have evacuated through a Kosovo Ambassador (V.P), since he was a very important witness to tragedy.

I reported from Moleqani, where Serb militants had thrown him in the well and killed... from the Upper Obria for the Delijas tragedy, with the consent and support of journalist Peter Snicker (SAT-1) we saved the life of a wounded man from the quarter “Bytyqi” in Orlat... Second, at the invitation of KLA political representative Adem Demaci, I was political adviser to the Rambouillet Conference.

Thirdly, at the invitation of the General Staff, through “linking” in Struga, I ended up in Tirana with the deceased Air Bang, Mr. Do something. In Tirana we have been received by Mr. Azem Syla, Jakup Krasniqi, Billal Sheriff, Xhavit Haliti... Although I was on my way to “mal” their request was to help with political, intellectual, propagandistic affairs because of Mr. Krasniqi told me: “over the mountain we have enough, but we don't have people of pen”. Fourth, in Tirana I was until mid-June... and continued the commitment launched in Tirana to the quality of the prime minister's political adviser until the end of the transitional Government in Pristina. Honored veterans, I made this brief confession for all those veterans who think they own exclusively the protection of the purity of the fair liberation war.

For veterans who are convinced that in our fair fight there were no horrible acts described in Dick Marty's report, so they are not afraid of confrontation with the past. For those veterans who aren't informed that I was, officially against the formation of the JS, because it endangered judicial sovereignty, despite Kosovo's sovereignty to date. For those veterans who don't want to understand that today, I am fundamentally against the abolition of the JS, because it is being done exclusively to save potential crime suspects at the expense of the consolidation of the state of Kosovo and the serious risk of internationally proven friendship, without which we would not have this fragile state.

For those veterans who haven't pressured the prime minister at the right time, but have accepted his pressure to form the GPS with outright protests and pressure today on those who have long rejected it! For those veterans who think the state of Kosovo can be consolidated as long as it has this international public mortgage. For those of myopians who do not understand or want to understand that the mortgage attributed to Kosovo for terrible crimes is a heavy burden for the consolidation of the state of Kosovo. For those veterans who didn't petition when the state's legal sovereignty was jeopardised (2015) and petitioned for “saved” individuals who brought the state to this door.

For those veterans who do not want to realize that it is too heavy a burden, for all honest people who have sacrificed and sacrificed for justice, charges, allegedly for organ trafficking. For those veterans who don't understand, or want to understand that if the JS Law is abolished, it will only increase and deepen the consequences that have been created because of the tendency to abolish. For those veterans who are ignoring the consequences created, and the remarks that are coming from those we're putting behind their backs “, they're drawing attention to us so we can open our eyes so we don't fall into a cliff.

For those veterans who by defending suspects for potential crimes are questioning all veterans and honest citizens and the state of Kosovo. For those veterans who are also questioning the reasons for the intervention of the international military alliance, without which we would not enjoy freedom today, while veterans, this status... Honored veterans, the state of Kosovo is in “the path to failure”, this is evidence of cyclical crises, and that is what Kosovo's proven friends are saying. Kosovo citizens, and private veterans, must courageously face possible evil.

By being instrumentalized by individuals who have potentially tarnished the liberation war for their own motives and interests, it is not good to become instant beneficiaries! Because you will end up unjustly as dams that have protected those who have overshadowed pure war and endangered the consolidation of the State. You're not subx0. You don't understand, or don't you want to understand, that the potential suspects from the GPS, vested in power, have prevented Kosovo from dealing with the crimes of Serbs in Kosovo, because the dawning of several Serbian crimes, but even some Albanians, would eventually whiteen their crimes.

Of course, the Special Court is unfair, it's a national, but why don't you ask yourself and those you think will protect, honored veterans, who forbade Kosovo justice for 18 years not to file charges for Serbs suspected of war crimes? Why there wasn't 18 years of petition from you! As long as, for good reason, you're accusing the internationals of forming JSS against Albanian individuals suspected of potential crimes, why are you protecting the designated individuals of power, which none of them have been stumbling, so far hinders even today from dealing with Serb crimes in Kosovo. Who's guilty! Have Americans and Europeans prevented Kosovo's justice from bringing charges against Serbs who committed crimes?! Honored veterans, Kosovo justice has prevented exactly potential war crimes suspects from dealing with Serb crimes.

The functioning of the JS helps Kosovo, abolishing the JS Law, empowers individuals who have brought the state of Kosovo before failure. Truth and honesty should be the purpose of your efforts, not the support of manipulators. Instead of removing the black “ “ “, which has covered Kosovo by individuals spoken of by the Dick Marty Report, you, at your initiative, are darkening all Kosovars and Kosovo, and, most of all, those who really have fought for freedom and justice! Perhaps you are also questioning the ideals of martyrs who gave their lives for freedom and justice.

Real veterans should not fear truth and justice. Rather, they should fear injustice. After all, honored veterans, you definitely shouldn't be afraid of the JS, but of the <x0vry”, which is trying to bite you again, for the same thing and the same place!
