A Letter to Recaw Memorial Academy

Your Honor. Walker!

Dear fellow warriors, families of martyrs, families of the fallen of Recak, and honored citizens!

Unable to greet you at Recak's Memorial Academy, because of the political influence of organisers who did not even want to greet me and let me have the opportunity to address me as I am every year, I am addressing the media hoping to publish my speech prepared for this case, as the commander of ZON [Zona Operative Zone of Nerodimes] of the KLA. Why am I being ignored after 19 years as a participant in that academy? I guess that's how you're trying to deprive yourself of the past and the war, of those in power.

For 19 years to share the pain with you, citizens of Recak. For 19 years we've been sharing bitter memories of January 15th. We share memories of the proud heroic deeds of Kosovo Liberation Army soldiers.

19 years of hope for better and better days.

There were 19 years of withdrawals from national historical rights for the sake of peace!

There have been 19 years of painful compromises with Srbine to maintain friendship with our allies!

There were 19 years of waiting and hoping for the penalty of crime, while criminals in Serbia prepare files and evidence to establish justice!

We've been trying 19 years, we're doing politics and we're in a mess!

Honored, honored citizens, should we say “is enough to play on our blood and sacrifice”. Should we walk vertically despite the pain of the back from the burden of attractions, compromises, servilization of our policy's knees.

Let's walk vertically, that we thereby honor the blood, honor the fallen, honor Recak!
