If Prime Minister Haradinaj may become jealous that despite raising his own salary, he continues to have it tenfold smaller than that of the US president, he may boast that he is superior to the presidents of two other world economic superpowers, China and India.
Kosovo's prime minister made a decision days ago through which he raised his salary from 1,300 euros to 2,950 euros a month -- a salary that makes him more paid than China's President, Xi Jinping, and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, writes Metro.
On the basis of internet research and lists that are constantly published by international media, it becomes known that the country's leading leader with one of the world's most developed economies, China's Xi Jinping, is paid about 18,500 euros a year, or about 1,500 euros a month.
Even the leader of another country more developed than Kosovo, the Narendra Mondi of India, receives about 25 thousand euros a year, or about 2 thousand euros a month.
Haradinaj has been sharply criticised by the opinion of raising the salary to nearly 100 per cent for himself and the prime minister's cabinet. Even leaders of Balkan countries have a lower salary than Kosovo's prime minister.
