Bulgarian support for Kosovo independence has been presented in various forms, including with a positive statement in Kosovo's favour at the International Court of Justice.
“During the first half of 2018 on the foreign policy of the Republic of Kosovo must end or continue important processes, which have a direct impact on Kosovo's development and stability. The Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council corresponds to this active period for Kosovo's foreign policy and could play an important role in walking a part of these processes. For this reason, Bulgaria and Kosovo must further postpone their relations, which, while at high level, have potential for deepening co-operation in various areas such as politics, economics, culture, etc.”, Professor Pancev stressed.
The professor works as an assistant professor at the Sofia University Balkan Department “Shan Kliment Ohridski”. He's a subject lecturer: Albanian, Balkan countries' politics.
