The director of Caritas, Don Victor Sopi, has been presenting the message.
Starting with this message, Pope Francisescu, his special service for human rights in particular for refugees, mainly from the Middle East, is numbering millions of immigrants.
There are over 250 million immigrants in the world, including 25 million persecuted refugees in their countries and persecuted. The high number of migrants and refugees, the pope noted the increase in the number of refugees in the 20” century, the message said.
Among other things, it is said that all peoples are of a human family and have equal rights.
“Migrants and refugees do not behave with empty hands, they bring the high treasure of their culture. The pope focuses on four points for refugees, and they are: their accession, their defence, their promotion, their host”, Sopi stressed in Papa Francescu's message.
Sopi finally said that the pope requires world governments to build bridges, not walls, because migrants' thirst for freedom, however, must rely on equal ways. /Periscopi/
