As a result, two people so far are reportedly dead, while another 65 have suffered injuries, the BBC writes, records Klan Kosova.
Earthquake drives have been heard at 04:18 local time this Sunday.
The Epicenter has been in the Pacific Ocean, and it is reported that the quakes may have felt up to 30 miles [36 km].
Peru's authorities have announced there are fears that 17 miners may have disappeared after the earthquake.
But then there was Peru's Health Minister who has said rescue teams in the mine have said these 17 miners are not missing.
