Council of Europe's AP speaks of Ivanovic's murder, that was the Serb harsh reaction

Today, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe's Commission for Political and Democracy Affairs has been discussed over recent events in Kosovo. The Kosovo rapporteur in the APKiE Jerdi Roca Mas, deputy from the Spain Parliament, has raised this topic at the initiative of this Commission. The issue discussed was killing [...]
The issue that was discussed was the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.
The rapporteur, Roca, condemned Ivanovic's murder, stressing that violence does not choose anything, but only democracy.
Roca said transparency is in the interest of the people of Kosovo and that it is now in the process of organising the first visit to Kosovo, in May or June, in order to get the first draft for Kosovo and present it to the APKi at the end of the year.
Roca stressed that I will prepare the report as European citizens and without influence from the state policy it represents.
The chairman of this commission passed the word to the Serbian delegation, which tended to disinformate members of this Commission, declaring Kosovo has committed human rights violations, disrespecting the rights of the Serb community.
He also kept saying that his mission EULEX in Kosovo has done nothing about the Serb community.
The delegation from Serbia continued to accuse Kosovo institutions and EULEX of not making efforts to return Serbs to Kosovo and of lighting up Oliver Ivanovic's murder.
On this issue, the Serbian delegation stressed that Serbia's request for an investigation of the Ivanovic case, not only for the person who killed him, but also for those behind this murder, must be accepted. The Kosovo Assembly deputies' initiative to abolish the Special Court was also stressed.
The delegation from the Kosovo Assembly, led by Deputy Chairman Xhavit Haliti, stressed that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo have condemned the act of killing that Ivanovic and that they will co-operate with security and investigative bodies to whiteen the case with neighbouring states.
The delegation from Kosovo stressed that despite Ivanovic's history, he has not felt endangered by Albanians, and statements by Ivanovic himself confirm that.
