The Ministry of Security Force in an answer to Indexline has provided details of the salaries of its members, depending on military degrees.
The monthly wage of a soldier is 405.90m gross, while the highest officer (General-Leatent) is 1,602.15 grossly without including the work experience which accounts for: 1 year's service with 0.5% of the base salary”, the MNSF says in response.
Meanwhile, according to the Albanian Army's salary report, monthly military payment starts from 44.870 lek, or 358.05 euros.
As far as wages are concerned, the Serbian Army is located at a lower level. According to an article published by Novosti.rs, a professional soldier's salary starts at 31,000 dinars or converting to 261.94 euros. This, they say, shows the most frequent reasons for abandoning professional military service.
In recent years, Serbia's Armed Forces uniform has given up 800 soldiers, as well as dozens of officers.
The most frequent reason for contract cuts is the poor status of employees in the defence system.
