Ahmeti has stressed that he has asked the Agency for Defence and Environment to publish official data on air quality under the Laws in force so that policies can be implemented in accordance with data.
And according to him, it's good for the Agency to hold an awareness conference explaining what different values mean that measure.
Ahmeti also announced that he has sought from Pristina Parliament Speaker Agim Kuleta to call extraordinary meetings for Thursday or Friday.
This is a full post:
After last week's meeting, the Ministry of Environment and Community Teams will meet tomorrow to review reductions in traffic and subsidisation of public transportation at certain times.
Also, as head of the Pristina municipality, I'm asking the Protection Agency for the Publicisation of Official Data on Air Quality to the Laws in effect so that policies can be implemented in line with data. It would also be good for the Agency to hold a conscious conference explaining what different values mean that measure.
We also ask the Public Health Institute to provide guidelines for citizens on how to handle high values.
All in the end, I've asked Chief Chief Editor Agim Kuleta to call an extraordinary meeting for Thursday or Friday by law to discuss these and other measures that we can take. I also thank Assemblywoman Havolly for the request.
I also invite the Republic's Assembly to organise extraordinary hearings on this issue.
