An international anti-trafficking drug operation between the State Police, Guardia di Finanza and the Italian Police has led to the GdF sequencing of 3 tonnes and 992kg of marijuana.
In the early hours of the morning, the Guardia di Finanza became possible to ban and sequencing a US flag yacht. As a result of pursuit by the GdF and air support teams became possible blocking the floating vehicle.
Three Albanian citizens with F.M. initials, E.V., and E.M. were on the crew. The vessel was seized in Italian territorial waters in the Vieste area.
Preliminary investigations indicate that this vessel has not violated Albanian waters. We reserve for more information because of the investigative secret.
