The confessions of Kosovo citizens who were published last evening, where dozens of them said they were leaving the country due to the poor economic situation, for the bus station director in Pristina, are not true.
He told public television there is no influx of Kosovars who want to leave Kosovo through the bus station, calling in the number of tickets sold recently for bus lines to Serbia, travelling at three times -- 22:00, 22:30 and 11:00.
Despite the fact that the practice of buying tickets is not done through the Pristina Bus station, Citaku said that in contrast to a week before 30 tickets were sold, only 15 more tickets were sold this week.
But how has Citaku come to this position? Directly from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the branch in Pristina.
He was appointed chief executive in station, in February of last year.
He is a member of the PDK leadership branch in Pristina. In the last local elections of late 2013, he was the candidate for Pristina's Communist Assembly assist, but had failed to get enough votes.
Citaku before taking over the company's leadership has been a teacher in low high school “dania” in Pristina.
He has been selected with public competition by the Board of Directors. Meanwhile, the Actionary Commission, which oversees the Board, consists of PDK and LDK assisters in Pristina's Municipal Assembly.
He was fired in September this year by members of the Bus station Board, but that decision had been rejected by the Executive Body of Labour Inspectorate operating under the Labour Ministry. So he had returned to this position he currently holds. /Insider. com
