These mysterious and almost totally empty cities are a major plan of China to move up to 2026 into urban areas, 250 million citizens currently living in rural areas, broadcast Arbre.info.

The photographer, Kai Chaemmerer, was fascinated with these urban plans, so two years ago he traveled to China to explore and document them.
His work there he published in a series called “Unborn Cities”
