Throughout China's territory, there are hundreds of cities that have almost everything that is needed for a modern, urban life: high apartment complexes, developed waters, rock and even public art.

These mysterious and almost totally empty cities are a major plan of China to move up to 2026 into urban areas, 250 million citizens currently living in rural areas, broadcast Arbre.info.
Thus, countries like Kangbashi are already ready to be understood.
The photographer, Kai Chaemmerer, was fascinated with these urban plans, so two years ago he traveled to China to explore and document them.
His work there he published in a series called “Unborn Cities”
