Everlasting love, perfect love, has been preserved in this kiss.
The couple's love gesture is a permanent kiss that survived for 28,000 years that continues to amaze archaeologists.
These two skeletons were discovered in 1972 within a space in Hasanlu, Solduz Valley, Iran.
Until recently, there have been many speculations about the kiss of skeletons and what exactly happened.
Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania found that this pair of lovers of Hasanlu died about 800 BC, assessing that their skeletons are 28,000 years old.
The skeleton on the left is female and the one on the right is male. Scientists believe that they died of asphyxia after their bodies were found inside a pot of casa pointing a hole in the skull.
Nobody knows their true story. Only they know. Maybe one day we'll find out and why they were so well preserved for us to see and what's the meaning behind this mysterious kiss.
We only know that they once lived and loved each other so much that even death did not divide them.
