American troops produce two-part series for their role in Kosovo liberation

The US division troops of 82 Airborne Division will release a series of two parts this week, showing the exploits of American troops during the 1999 Kosovo intervention, writes Fyoobserver.

The two-part series will talk about military parabores (guards issued at the start of a plane parachute mission) from the division that intervened in Kosovo in 1999 to establish peace and stop violence and tension during the recent war in Kosovo.

“With the division of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, the Balkans became a hell; decades of violence between Serbs and Albanians erupted, and this region exploded into a violent orgy”, said in this series by American officials.

The law didn't apply, the innocent were slaughtered, the streets were filled with blood. The torture chairs and mass graves were more frequent than schools. President Bill Clinton declared an emergency, sent the American Honor Guard to the region to protect both sides and return a dose of normal”.

Episodes 32 and 33 of “All American Heritage” have been titled “A violent and complicated country of success and tragedy in Kosovo”.

The first part focuses on the landing of US troops in Kosovo in 1999, whose mission was not yet clear, American officials say, and was something between the country's governance and police.

Part two of the series speaks of war crimes threatening progress.

The two parts were produced by Josh Harrison within the Airborn 82 series to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brigade.
