The nominations are made public in The Scottish Women Awards, and among many famous Scottish women, in the category of charity is the name of Remzije Sheriff, who now lives and acts in Glasgow.
Even the Sheriff himself has expressed honor for this nomination, which has specified that he feels privileged to be nominated for her work in the field of charity. Meanwhile, the grand finale of this prestigious award will be held on August 30th, writes KultPlus.
Remije the Sheriff is from Gjilan and has moved to Scotland in 1999 when he was evacuated from a camp in Macedonia. By 1992, when he was fired, Remzi worked as a radio reporter and producer. In Scotland it has shown success in leading the association Maryhill Integrity Network, which deals with implementing health, education, art and dance programmes aimed at bringing communities together.
And her work in Scotland has been assessed even earlier, since at similar prestigious prices it has been nominated in years past.
